Materials & product choices
Named products, qualified honestly
The final series, profile, color, specification and manufacturer coverage are written into the quote. A brand name is useful only when it identifies the product actually being installed.
Aluminum soffit and fascia
Mountain Top installs aluminum soffit and fascia. Solid or vented panels, profile, finish and color are specified for the actual eave.
You probably want this if…
- Soffit panels are loose, sagging, stained or missing
- Birds or insects are entering an open eave
- A porch or overhang has an unfinished underside
- Fascia or gutter work exposes damage at the soffit edge
The work
What actually happens
01
Check the eave assembly
Panels, channels, backing and vents are inspected together so the repair addresses the opening rather than just replacing a visible piece.
02
Correct hidden damage
Wet, loose or damaged backing is dealt with before the finished soffit is installed.
03
Preserve ventilation
Where the roof assembly relies on soffit intake, replacement work must maintain a clear ventilation path rather than sealing it for appearance.
04
Finish the connection
The soffit is aligned with the fascia, wall channel and trim so the eave closes cleanly and resists wind at exposed edges.
Planning the estimate
What shapes the price
Every home and scope is different. The final price depends on the measurements, material choices, access and the condition of the existing system. These are the factors Mountain Top reviews during the estimate.
Estimates are free. You receive a written specification and fixed quote before work begins; the price changes only if a genuinely hidden condition appears that could not have been seen beforehand.
- Square footage and panel width
- Solid versus vented material
- Damage to framing or backing
- Number of corners, lights and penetrations
- Height and access
Around here specifically
What the desert does differently
Heat and wind make loose panels and blocked ventilation especially costly. A clean soffit installation protects the eave, but it also has to let the roof assembly breathe where ventilation is required.
